Biography
As a lecturer at the University of the Western Cape, Clayton’s primary goal is to cultivate a vibrant, collaborative learning environment where students can thrive in the field of computer science. Clayton holds an M. Sc. in Computer Science (with distinction) from the University of Cape Town. His dissertation reported on an empirical investigation, assessing the plausibility of the AGM postulates of belief revision through human reasoning. In pursuit of his Ph. D., he intends to expand upon his M.Sc. research, further developing his expertise in AI, knowledge representation and reasoning, and data science. Additionally, Clayton is a member of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research (CAIR) and Artificial Intelligence Research Unit (AIRU) in South Africa.
